All installation is performed over 1 or 2 months period. I have an open air garage (no garage). So, all installation need to be done during day time. Weather also another factor for the long installation span. The winter has been brutal in our area. We got snowstorm till mid April. Before installation start, there are a few prep work can be done. I have done the following task before bumper installation. Prep winch for installation to the bumper. Bumper pre-prep tasks before installation to the Sequoia. The prep for Alaska trip continue. A CB radio is crucial when you are driving in Alaska Highway. The trucker communicate with CB and you can easily get help if you stranded by radio bypass trucker. For emergency purposed, I opt to install a CB into my rig.

I choose Midland portable CB 75-822. You can get this CB for around $90. To enhance the reception, I opt to install external antenna vs the stock antenna. I choose Firestik 2m CB antenna.

The installation is pretty straight forward. I need to purchase a cable. I choose firestik 9 feet fire ring cable. Route the cable around and enter the vehicle via the firewall.
