ARB Deluxe Bars Bumper + Warn Zeon Platinum 10-S Installation

All installation is performed over 1 or 2 months period.  I have an open air garage (no garage).  So, all installation need to be done during day time.  Weather also another factor for the long installation span.  The winter has been brutal in our area.  We got snowstorm till mid April. Before installation start, there are a few prep work can be done.  I have done the following task before bumper installation.   Prep winch for installation to the bumper. Bumper pre-prep tasks before installation to the Sequoia.   Winch Prep (Warn Zeon Platinum 10-S) The winch I choose for this installation is Warn Zeon Platinum 10S.  This is a winch rated as 10,000lbs pull capability.  If you are looking for the specification of the winch, you can find it at the following link.   https://www.warn.com/truck/winches/ZEON_10-S_Pltnm.jsp In additional to the winch, you will need the following parts. ...

Tepui Roof Top Tent

I took the plunge and purchase my first Roof Top Tent.  It's a Tepui Autana XL Sky in Siberian Camo.  It was a no brainer decision because I ordered my Tepui Tent from REI.  On top of free shipping, I was able to get 20% for being REI member.

On April 2, I picked up the RTT from our local REI store.  Due to extra passenger, I have to opt transport the new RTT using our new roof rack.  With a few helper from REI, we managed to load the box on top of the roof rack.  I used several rope to secure the box from moving.  This is our first use of the roof rack and all I can say is AWESOME.  I have a few tied down rings installed all corner of the roof rack.

Securing the box is just an easy task.  This make the RTT transport is so easy.  We safely arrived home with our new RTT.

I started to unpack our roof top tent and I found the following.  Once side of the box showing some damage.  I didn't see this part before loaded the box.  Once I started to remove the box, I found some damages on the RTT platform.  For some reason, some idot use a pallet jack and the jack cause some damages.  The damages is clearly visible and 2 visible dent on the platform.

Due to I'm missing some hardware to install the tent, I have to store the tent away for now.  I don't have time to inspect the tent yet and I will try to find the time to do a throughly inspection on the damages.

I contacted REI and Tepui on the problem.  I just discovered that REI has a 1 year satisfaction guaranteed on all item purchased at REI.  REI has no problem to refund my purchase, but I will have to transport the tent back to the store.  Since this happen, I'm waiting for Front Runner RTT installation hardware to arrive.  More to report after I get the RTT installed and check out the function.
